I guess I can’t, in all fairness, claim that this is in fact the best Spirk fanfic ever, because I have never read any others. In fact, I have never read any other fanfiction period. I never intended to either, but a fellow Trekker introduced me to this one. I honestly found the concept of Kirk and Spock together ridiculous at first, but after reading this I am forever chaged. The writing is spectacular and the story is beautiful. Highly recommend :)

Haha. I think that to myself all the time. For now I’ve had to start small. Bought a sketchbook over winter break, printed out some of my favorites from deviant art, and attempted to replicate them. harder than it looks, but ‘m improving.

just recently finished watching the Firefly series. our usual viewing crowd, which includes myself, one other friend who hadn’t had the series before, and then a bunch of avid fans, gathered in the tv lounge of our dorm. we proceeded to watch the movie Serenity while quietly playing/singing “The Man they call Jayne” on guitar in the background. it was quite fantastic.

post-movie thoughts (*spoiler alert*): RIP Shepherd and Wash. you two of all people did not deserve to die. At least Simon was alright, and foxier than ever. but mostly, RIVER IS SO BADASS. I WANT TO BE A CRAZY PSYCHIC PRODIGY WITH AWESOME MARTIAL ARTS SKILLS. seriously.
